Local folders missing in Outlook Express
Well, I THOUGHT I sent a message to the NG yesterday about my missing e-mails, but I don't see it posted, so I'll try again. Turn off background compaction under Tools | Options | Maintenance for each Identity you have, and then compact manually and frequently using File Folder | Compact all.

Local mail folders disappeared for maintenance
Also, lots of inbox messages are missing. They jump from last night's received inmail to November of 2005. Finally, all of my Newsgroups are missing. Any idea how I can get them all back? Only thing I did last night was respond "yes" to the "compact folders" query, which I've done before without incident. Thanks.
